I am a UK qualified Chemistry Teacher, highly experienced Online Chemistry Tutor and a current A-level Examiner.
I am an extremely successful teacher/tutor, offering high quality syllabus specific tuition.
I pride myself on being one of the most highly organised Chemistry tutors on the internet. You will be hard pushed to find another tutor who has all the chemistry syllabuses as thoroughly prepared and well resourced as I have.
I cover most GCSE (triple award and higher tier), IGCSE, AS-Year 1, A2-Year 2 syllabuses.
I do not offer tuition for Key Stage 3.

With regard to my price structure, I feel that I offer my tuition at a very fair and competitive price for the wealth of experience and knowledge that I have gained over the last 31 years of teaching.
I am aware that there are cheaper options out there but I do feel that the phrase "you get what you pay for" is often the case. Many cheaper tutors are students or people with no experience of working in education either as a teacher or as an A-level examiner.

Summary of types of available tuition
1-to-1 tuition
- in 1-to-1 tuition (Limited number of places), I can focus entirely on the needs and learning style of each individual student
- the theory taught is always syllabus specific
- each lesson is bespoke to the needs (strengths, weaknesses, and learning preferences) and pace of the individual student
- students have access to a video course to help them prepare in advance for each lesson
- students have access to past paper questions on each topic
- I can be flexible with the content of each lesson to meet that student’s requirements in any lesson
- students are able to contact me outside of lessons if they have any small problems with any of the theory taught or any past paper questions
- 1-to-1 will build a good rapport between the student and myself. This helps the student to relax and grow in confidence
Pair tuition
- students need to approach me as a ready made pair
- the theory taught is always syllabus specific
- recordings of lessons will be sent to any student who is absent from a lesson
- students have access to a video course to help them prepare in advance for each lesson
- students have access to past paper questions on each topic
- students are able to contact me outside of lessons if they have any small problems with any of the theory taught or any past paper questions
- working with another student promotes confidence and allows the chance to learn from the other student's questions and responses
Group tuition
- it is ideal if students approach me as a ready made group, however, I can try to help put groups together if sufficient students show an interest (please note that there must be a minimum of 2 students for the groups to initially run)
- the theory taught is always syllabus specific
- recordings of lessons will be sent to any student who is absent from a group lesson
- students have access to a video course to help them prepare in advance for each lesson
- students have access to past paper questions on each topic
- students are able to contact me outside of lessons if they have any small problems with any of the theory taught or any past paper questions
- working with others gives students confidence and the chance to learn from other students' questions and responses

The powerpoints used in my tuition are created from scratch and are entirely unique to me. They are syllabus specific, highly detailed and very thorough in their explanations, giving students the potential to access the top grades .
I firmly believe in leaving nothing to chance and 'no stone unturned' .
I am confident that you will be happy with my live 1-to-1 or group lessons, however, if for any reason you do not wish to continue after the first lesson, I will fully refund the lesson fee.
Students who take my live tuition will also get access to my Video Courses for the topics they have
fully covered in their live lessons only.
Students who only have the odd lesson, or who just come to me prior to the exams for past paper practice, are unlikely to qualify for the complementary videos as they will not be going through complete topics with me.
